For Celtic Thunder, Sharon Browne has teamed up with Grammy-nominated Irish songwriting and composing veteran Phil Coulter to produce a show that includes an eclectic mix of songs ranging from the traditional "Mountains of Mourne" and "Come By the Hills" to international hits such as "Brothers in Arms" and "Desperado," as well as original compositions by Coulter, who has written hits for Elvis Presley ("My Boy") and the Bay City Rollers, and performed with Van Morrison, Tom Jones, and the Rolling Stones. The ensemble numbers in Celtic Thunder reflect the power of the vocalists, who range in age from 14 to 40, and feature songs that celebrate a common Celtic heritage.

I purchased the DVD of The Show - I truly am taken with the 5 solo voices of Celtic Thunder - Kudos to Phil Coulter
I would recommend this DVD as it is their first DVD - so that is always special
I have enjoyed watching Damien grow up in front of the camera from this DVD to Thats Entertainment - also recommend that as well

Summary: "Celtic Thunder: The Show"

If you want to see the first Celtic Thunder show and from where they all started--here it is! Excellent show! There are 28 songs which range from being just familiar, popular, and cute to very dramatic. No one would be disappointed in this DVD. The stage is fantastic. The harmony of the varied voices of the five talented men is superb. Love hearing them sing as an ensemble. As individuals, George, having lost his own father, brings true feeling to "The Old Man." Damian owns the song "A Bird Without Wings," but George adds the right touch in singing backup to this song. Charismatic Ryan does an outstanding job with "Brothers in Arms" and anything he sings. Paul's voice is unbelievably pure--it shines! Keith sings a song he wrote, "Lauren & I." The orchestra is just fantastic. Love the drums! Phil Coulter has done a wonderful job as musical director and in composing some great songs. This is a complete, entertaining package! Love the kilts!

now that i have every thing that they did i love this dvd i now have all 4 cd all 3 dvds i hope they put more cds and dvds out and maybe some blu-rays now that i have a blu-ray player
